We love doing this series of articles, we really do, in this you can see the another amazing things for Bulgaria, not only the regular things, like parties in Sunny Beach or Golden Sands, but also ancient historical cities like Sozopol and Nessebar. Bulgaria is a great place to be also for winter holidays, either for ski and spa, Borovets and Bansko are perfect for Bulgaria Skiing Holiday! The prices are cheap, the food is amazing, people great. Night life is very cool also! But we try to get out of that frame and we will present you Koprivshtitsa and Melnik, two very small towns but with ton of things to do and see, so stay tuned we are starting!
Number seven: Koprivshtitsa, the little known gem in Bulgaria.
This very small village (it is not even a town in Bulgaria) is amazing. Just walking around the alleyways you will feel the magnetic energy from this place. The best part is that, if you are choosing to go on winter ski holiday in Bulgaria it is very close to Sofia. It is like only 2-3 hours with car… So go there and see this village before dive in the great Ski holiday.
This place is very cool because it kind transferring you into 1876, when all Bulgarian population is fighting the Ottoman (Turkey) rulers… In this small very authentic house the patriots and the rebels were plaing the rebellion against the Ottoman Empire. Unfortunately this rebel was a disaster and a lot of people die trying to free the Bulgarian country.
This village has a lot of history – the houses, the people, the story, the artwork and so on… see it.
Number eight: Melnik town – the smallest town ever in Bulgaria and has a full of surprises.
Yes Melnik is the smallest town in Bulgaria…But if you are true wine lover you will fell in love with this magical place… it is like the dream of the wine lovers, come true. After entering the city you will enter some tavern and forget that you have other plans. Also the landscape is pretty nice. There is a house in the rocks, very ancient, that you can visit while you are there. Stay tuned for the last 5th part!
